Job Description & Skill Requirements:
- Experience as an Instrumentation and Control Design Engineer developing engineering design packages for industrial plants.
- Selection and design of controls and hardware for control and monitoring process plant instrumentation.
- Prepare Instrument Datasheets, IO Lists, Instrument Lists, Wiring Diagrams, and Engineering Information.
- Knowledge in PLC and SCADA systems for industrial networks.
- Experience in LV Electrical Distribution Design, Power Distribution Panels, and Motor Control Centers for process plants in compliance with NEC.
- Familiarity with control panel design as per UL508A standards.
- Previous work experience in system commissioning and validation is a plus.
- Trained and qualified in NFPA70E requirements.
- Strong communication skills, project management skills, and vendor management.
- Experience in Panel Engineering and Instrumentation & Control, including Instrument Datasheets, I/O Lists, Loop Drawings, Hook-Up Drawings, Location Plans, Control System Architecture Drawing Preparation, Instrument and JB Plot Plans, 3D Model understanding, and preparation of Cable Trays, Panels, and installation of field instruments.
- Ability to effectively represent information and respond to questions in a meeting environment.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards applicable to FMCG Plants and NEC standards.
- Expertise in instrument selection for all types of field instruments.
- Exposure to the selection of instruments and systems for hazardous areas.
- Involvement in inter-disciplinary activities such as P&ID review and update, 3-D Model review, IDR/IDC, cable tray layouts, equipment layouts, lighting layouts, earthing layouts, load lists, and substation layouts.
- Experience in the preparation, review, and approval of procurement deliverables including Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), Purchase Requisition, and Vendor Drawing Review and approvals for Field Instrumentation and Control Systems.
Qualifications:
- Engineering in Instrumentation and Control (BE/B.Tech/BS/MS).
