Fixed Income - AVP
Fantastic opportunity to join a stable team and contribute to their fixed income portfolio; candidate will leverage their credit analysis and company research skills to identify investment-grade and high-yield bond ideas in support of the portfolio managers
Responsibilities:
• Conduct fundamental credit analysis with emphasis on financial modeling to identify profitable corporate bonds for the portfolio with a focus on alpha generation
• Create earnings reports (projections/valuations)
• Create company research/reports and investment ideas for PMs
• Actively connect with the market to identify/develop new investment ideas
Experience/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting; MBA and/or CFA preferred
• Min 3-5 yrs of credit analysis, fixed income and fund investing experience
• Strong Excel skill and Bloomberg proficiency (as w3ell as other research tools).
• Bench in company research, asset valuation and relative value analysis is a must
• Exceptional financial modeling, analytical and communication skills required, with ability to communicate and present investment recommendations.
• Ability to work closely and collaboratively with a global team
