We seek a knowledgeable and dynamic P&C Industry SME to join our Underwriting Vertical Team. This individual will be critical in bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and practical, impactful applications within the P&C sector.
Job Responsibilities/KRAs:
Manage Advisory engagements related to Product design, Product rationalization, Product performance, risk evaluation, risk concentration, underwriting efficiency, underwriting workbench
Manage advisory engagements related to core systems modernization, implementation roadmap, process automation and intelligence, solution approach and options
Thought leadership – Point of view, Industry trends and Innovations, Carrier business model and financial analysis
Pre-Sales support – Lead / contribute in RFI/RFP preparation, presentation
Solution development - Build frameworks for feasibility studies, global best practices, industry benchmarks and standards, and target state operating models / scenario analysis.
Required Skills:
12-15 years of experience as Underwriter / Domain SME / Product Specialist / Product Owner in P&C insurance
Excellent knowledge of commercial lines product offerings – coverage, rating, rules and forms
Proven experience in defining and delivering strategic initiatives such as product rationalization, underwriting transformation, business growth, product and distribution innovation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in documenting business requirements, creating high-level solution design, and prototyping analytical, AI solutions, process flow leveraging core industry expertise
Proven experience in advising clients to achieve their business objectives related with growth, profitability, efficiency and experience, utilizing leading industry platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, OneShield and others
