Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Trademark Paralegal to join our client's legal team. This role involves managing a variety of trademark-related tasks, working closely with attorneys, and ensuring that all trademark documentation is handled efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive U.S. and global trademark searches.
- Review and distribute trademark watch notices to the appropriate legal teams.
- Assist with trademark use investigations and other due diligence activities.
- Support infringement, opposition, and related legal proceedings, including discovery tasks.
- Prepare draft reports, letters, and responses to trademark office actions for attorney review.
- Coordinate the preparation and filing of formal assignments and agreements with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
- Manage social media takedown notices and handle non-routine IP-related projects.
- Prepare cost estimates for trademark filing and maintenance worldwide.
- Collaborate with vendors and review invoices to ensure compliance with firm policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trademark prosecution law.
- Strong knowledge of both domestic and international trademark regulations.
- Proficiency in document preparation, legal research, and meeting critical deadlines.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
