We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our new program providing services to some of our therapy clients and the local community. As a Massage Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients by providing high-quality therapeutic massages. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities:
Ability to develop professional rapport with clients
Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
Schedule flexibility to include working evenings and weekends
Schedule (some follow ups), confirm, and cancel appointments
Organized and detail oriented
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work effectively maintaining composure and guest satisfaction
Consult with clients to discuss their concerns, medical histories, and specific stresses or pains to develop the most effective approach to massage treatment
Maintain accurate records of each session in the form of SOAP notes
Maintain a clean and sanitized massage room, cleaning in-between each client
High level of ethics and integrity.
Qualifications:
* Maryland Massage license (Required)
* Work Location: In person
* Live within 30 minutes of Lanham, MD
* Provide at least three professional references
* Agree to a background check prior to employment
* Agree to wear a uniform (scrubs) during patient care hours
* A passion for helping people look and feel their best.

* Proficient in various massage techniques,
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
