Senior Compensation Consultant
Our client, a phenomenal management consulting and investment firm, is seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant to oversee and manage the implementation and communication of compensation programs and policies. The ideal candidate will have experience in compensation administration, Workday as well as be detail-oriented with strong Excel skills.
Role Overview:
- Oversee annual compensation processes, including project coordination, stakeholder communication, and data analysis.
- Manage compensation activities in Workday throughout the year, ensuring smooth execution during key cycles.
- Analyze and apply insights from salary surveys to guide compensation strategies.
- Design and test compensation-related tools and models using systems such as Workday, Xactly, and Excel.
- Perform routine compensation administration, including benchmarking, market analysis, and maintaining salary structures.
- Update and manage the job description library and salary survey databases, suggesting improvements to evaluation frameworks.
- Develop and maintain salary programs, including pay structures, merit guidelines, and incentive plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compensation-related projects, ensuring seamless integration with other departments.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a compensation-focused analytical role, ideally within finance, consulting, or professional services.
- Expertise in managing Workday Advanced Compensation processes and leading year-end reward cycles.
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments (e.g., Payroll, Finance, Benefits) and present insights to senior leaders.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience in maintaining and configuring tools like Workday and Tableau.
- Skilled in developing presentations for leadership, leveraging both PowerPoint and Excel for clear communication.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication abilities, capable of presenting complex concepts to non-HR audiences.
- Self-motivated with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a keen attention to detail.
