Job Summary: The Digital Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our digital products, from concept through launch and beyond. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining product vision and strategy, managing product roadmaps, and ensuring that our digital offerings deliver exceptional user experiences and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and articulate the product vision and strategy in alignment with company goals. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and ensure the product meets customer needs.
- Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features and improvements based on user feedback, market trends, and business objectives. Communicate the roadmap and product vision to stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch. Facilitate communication and collaboration to address any challenges or roadblocks.
- User Experience & Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-centered designs and ensure the product delivers a seamless and engaging user experience. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Project Management: Oversee the product development process, including defining requirements, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met. Use project management tools and methodologies to track progress and address any issues.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze product performance using metrics and KPIs. Utilize data to make informed decisions, optimize product features, and drive continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present product updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders. Gather and incorporate feedback to align the product with business needs and expectations.
- Market & Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to ensure the product remains relevant and innovative.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in digital product development, with a strong track record of successful product launches.
- Experience with digital product lifecycle management, including roadmapping, requirements gathering, and project management.
- Excellent understanding of user experience design principles and familiarity with UX/UI best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana) and data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment is preferred.
