Business Systems Analyst- UKG Specialist
4 month Contract in Downtown Seattle, potential for extension
Location: Onsite 3 days a week (Flexible Schedule)
Rate: $60-75/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced UKG Specialist to provide critical support during a period of organizational transition. The primary focus of this role will be maintaining and configuring UKG (formerly Kronos) for timekeeping, scheduling, and payroll integration. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams and support Workday payroll interfaces. The ideal candidate will ensure continuity in UKG operations while helping the team transition through upcoming personnel changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the UKG system for timekeeping, scheduling, and event management.
- Configure UKG templates for schedules, including event-specific and holiday schedules.
- Support payroll interfaces between UKG and Workday.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) and payroll staff, to address troubleshooting and configuration issues.
- Assist in the knowledge transfer process for ongoing UKG and Workday responsibilities.
- Provide additional hands-on support to the payroll team as needed.
- Ensure continuity in UKG operations and maintain accurate scheduling for a large event staff (approximately 1,200–1,500 employees).
- Work closely with IT and user community representatives to address system needs and concerns.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with UKG (Kronos) administration, particularly for timekeeping and scheduling.
- Familiarity with Workday payroll and its integration with UKG is a plus.
- Ability to manage system configurations, troubleshoot issues, and implement scheduling templates.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work onsite three days a week and maintain flexible work arrangements.
- Experience working in high-paced environments with ongoing organizational changes.
- Previous experience with event scheduling and managing large-scale staff rosters is preferred.
