Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full-stack development of our music platform using React Native, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient codebases across the front-end and back-end.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and product team to define and execute the product roadmap.
- Build new features end-to-end, from concept to deployment, ensuring a seamless and high-quality user experience.
- Improve and scale existing infrastructure to handle our growing user base.
- Mentor and grow the technical team as we scale, playing a key role in hiring future engineers.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and integrate them as needed to improve product performance and capabilities.
What They're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer, preferably with startups or fast-growing tech companies.
- Deep expertise in React Native, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience working on consumer products
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies, UI/UX principles, and a user-centric approach to design.
- Experience working with databases, cloud infrastructure, and RESTful API development.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where flexibility and quick problem-solving are key.
- Passion for music and a desire to impact the future of the music industry through innovative technology.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Nice to Have:
- Experience scaling systems to accommodate large user bases.
- Prior experience in the music or entertainment industry.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Leadership experience or interest in growing into a leadership role as we expand.
