The Position
With a strong focus on team, business development, and customer satisfaction, Tank Stream Design has built a reputation for excellence in our industry. As we continue to grow and expand globally, we are seeking a highly skilled Outside Sales Professional to join our team to support current and develop new business in New England, with sharp focus on the coastal market This roll also includes potential for territory expansion into select areas of the Caribbean.

Our new team member will be a dynamic and motivated Outside Sales Professional, responsible for driving business growth by identifying and securing new sales opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients. They will work independently in the field, representing our company to prospective clients, and will play a critical role in achieving our sales targets.
As an Outside Sales Professional, you will be the face of our company, using your excellent communication and negotiation skills to share our brands and drive revenue. If you are self-motivated, have a passion for sales, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Execution:
- Meet or exceed revenue and profit margin targets for the assigned territory.
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in assigned territories. Actively seek out new clients through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivating partnerships to drive revenue and profitability in the region.
Sales Presentations:
- Conduct in-person meetings and presentations to potential clients, effectively communicating the value of our products and services.
Negotiation and Closing:
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to close sales deals. Ensure that agreements are beneficial to both the client and the company.
Sales Reporting:
- Track and report on sales activities, progress, and potential leads in the company CRM daily. Provide regular updates to management on your sales pipeline.
Market Research:
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
Brand Representation & Retail Support:
- Maintain consistent brand representation across all retail environments.
- Provide ongoing physical support to accounts throughout the year, evaluating visual merchandising and upholding strong relationships with on-floor staff.
- Lead all stakeholders in the project management of staged renovations for retail store partners and shop-in-shop concept stores.
Travel:
- Travel frequently within assigned territories to meet clients and attend relevant events.
- Must be able to travel extensively within the assigned territory up to 5 days per week by car & air travel when required.
- Must be able to take recurring overnight trips within the territory when required for travel efficiency.
About You / Qualifications:
Location Requirements:
- Residence in coastal New England
- Ability and passion to travel extensively throughout the assigned sales territory visiting our customers in-person at least one time per month.
- Must have a reliable vehicle for daily customer visits.
Experience & Expertise:
- 3+ years of related direct outside sales, business development and merchandising experience.
- Familiarity with the Coastal Resort landscape in New England and the Caribbean is preferred.
- Experience with selling in the Caribbean is not required but preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic thinker with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong business analytical skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation abilities.
- Solid understanding of territory sales planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Experience with B2B sales platforms and CRM applications is advantageous.
- Must gave a valid US Driver’s License with a clear driving record, free from any major violations.
