Data Analyst – Product Segmentation

We are looking for a Data Analyst to support a Fortune 50 Broadcast Media & Entertainment company based in New York. In this role, you will help analyze data and provide insights to support product decisions related to user segmentation and monetization under the guidance of the Product and Growth Analytics team. This position is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, loves working with data, and is passionate about improving business outcomes through segmentation analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of applied experience in data analysis, focusing on segmentation and customer behavior.
- Basic coding skills in SQL for querying and data analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker.
- Experience working with customer data and digital analytics platforms.
- Ability to interpret large datasets and identify key segments to support product and marketing decisions.
- Understanding of A/B testing and experimentation methodologies is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing customer segments to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven product segmentation decisions.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other tools to track segmentation performance and monetization efforts.
- Work with the Product and Data Science teams to assist in the design and analysis of A/B tests and experiments, focusing on segment-based insights.
- Help refine data collection requirements to ensure the team can accurately measure and improve segmentation accuracy.
- Support data engineers by providing clear, concise data analysis and documentation to help improve data infrastructure and processes.
