We are seeking a seasoned .Net and SQL software developer with experience modernizing legacy applications for a permanent hybrid role. The position is hybrid, a minimum of 3 days on-site in Audubon, PA. All applicants should be local to ensure a reasonable commute to the corporate office.
To be successful in this role, strong technical proficiency in programming languages such as .NET, C++, C#, Java, Python, and SQL is essential, along with experience in SQL Server development and database management. The ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize algorithms is key, as well as the capacity to streamline business processes through in-house software development. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines are critical to driving efficiency and achieving results.
What You Will Do
- Review and update existing programs as well as identify and fix defects
- Support data architecture, generate reports, develop in‐house software, and mitigate potential risk
- Maintain proper coding practices and documentation, even under deadlines
- Assist the organization in increasing efficiency and service to its customers and employees through the construction, maintenance, and streamlining of the business process, computing systems and programs
- Enhance the efficiency and cost‐effectiveness of systems, resolve errors, and design programs that are customized to the organization's needs.
- Programming, inclusive, but not limited to:
- Coding and debugging
- Designing and testing computer structures
- Troubleshooting errors
- Profiling and analyzing algorithms
- Writing computer instructions
- Implementing build systems
- Managing database systems
- Special projects and other job duties as assigned.
You Have
- 2-4 Years’ coding experience using some or all these languages/packages: Visual Studio IDE with the .NET Framework, C++, Java, C#/.NET, SQL query, C#, Python, Mobile (Android/IOS) and HTML5
- 2-4 Years’ SQL Server 2012/2019+ development and administration experience
- Entity Relationship Diagramming skills
- Possess excellent communication skills, the drive to succeed and work independently and on a team, with the ability to multitask, and deliver quality results
- Ability to meet or exceed deadlines
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Attention to detail
- Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
