Monday - Friday Hours: 8a-5p

*Job Overview*
Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) will be responsible for ventilator education, initial setup, & monthly ventilator checks. The Respiratory Therapists will also provide education of prescribed respiratory equipment and other safety education as needed for patient and family/caregiver in order to ensure compliance with prescribed therapy.
Therapists must be able to complete on-time deliveries safely that are compliant with company policy related to TJC, quality, & customer satisfaction.
*Essential Job Functions*
Manages material requirements to provide complete deliveries to patients.
· Ensures compliance with company standards for TJC, cost control, quality patient care, safety, and complete on-time delivery.
· Complies with state and federal regulations and licensure.
· Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity, and continued improvement.
· Communicates clearly and directly with veterans, co-workers, & management
*Requirements*
• Maintains a valid Driver’s License
• Valid Respiratory License to practice Respiratory Care in state where employed
- Certification as either Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting
- Strong knowledge of respiratory physiology and airway management techniques
- Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus
*Educational and Experience Requirements*
• Associate’s degree or equivalent; or two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Home ventilator experience preferred.
