INVESTMENT BANKING
Our suite of services includes mergers and acquisition, divestitures, institutional private placement of equity and debt, equity underwriting, negotiation assistance, fairness opinions, due diligence, recapitalization, valuation, and strategic advisory services.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
As a member of our Debt Capital Markets Investment Banking team, you will support the debt capital markets team in all aspects of transactions from origination to preparation and execution. Primary responsibilities will include:
• Deal execution on debt placement transactions originated by ThinkEquity including marketing a deal to lenders, generating term sheets and managing the process through due diligence and closing.
• Deal origination for new debt placement transactions.
• Due diligence analysis of investment banking clients.
• Coordinating and preparing for due diligence calls related to investment banking clients.
• Deal marketing document and PowerPoint presentation editing and creation.
• Outreach to potential lenders and investors on debt transactions.
• Attending calls and meetings with potential investment banking clients.
• Building relationships with executives.
• Researching, with the goal of identifying new banking opportunities, public companies, industries and M&A transactions.
We are also interested in candidates that have experience with structuring and selling baby bonds and structured note offerings, which we structure for our client base of small-cap and micro-cap companies.
REQUIREMENTS
• Debt capital markets, debt placement and/or lending experience.
• Undergraduate degree in Business (Finance or Accounting) preferred.
• SIE and series 79, 7 and 63 licenses preferred.
• Both analytical and interpersonal skills - ability to effectively communicate with finance professionals.
• Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint and financial statements.
• Strong organizational skills, work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Positivity, self-motivation and an entrepreneurial spirit.
