*Job Description:*
As a Primary Therapist at our Knoxville/Norris location, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive, integrated care to our clients. You will utilize a multidimensional approach to ensure a high-quality continuum of care, including clinical assessments, diagnostic formulation, treatment planning and intervention, individual and group work, psychoeducation, relapse prevention, family services, and discharge planning within a supportive therapeutic environment.
*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct high-quality biopsychosocial assessments.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
* Educate patients on addiction and dual diagnoses.
* Provide integrated, comprehensive care to patients experiencing co-occurring disorders.
* Utilize a strength-based and trauma-informed approach to support patients in their treatment and recovery processes.
* Refer patients for ancillary therapeutic interventions based on assessments and clinical information.
* Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups.
* Provide individual therapy to patients on your caseload.
* Liaise with loved ones to develop and strengthen a healthy support system.
* Conduct individual family sessions.
* Model effective communication and healthy coping skills.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in alignment with standards of care.
* Collaborate with clinical, medical, residential, and other staff as necessary.
* Maintain compliance with continuing education requirements.
* Participate in clinical staff meetings, staff development, and required trainings.
*Qualifications:*
* Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
* At least one year of clinical experience in a substance abuse or mental health setting preferred.
* Currently licensed or working toward licensure or certification in one of the following: LCSW, LMHC, LADAC II, LMFT, LPC-MHSP, CAP, MCAP, or similar.
* Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Self-directed and flexible with strong organizational and time-management skills.
*Salary:* Commensurate with education, training, experience, and licensure/certification.

Pay: $47,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
