Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the aerospace sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company’s products and services.
- Team leadership and skill & standard process development for direct reports (3 to 4)
- Willingness to travel as needed. Anticipated travel ~10%-15%
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the aerospace (distribution) industry.
- Strong understanding of aerospace products, services, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
- Willingness to travel as needed.
