We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fulfill the role of Business Analyst cum Product Owner with expertise in Capital Markets and Trading Platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial markets, trading systems, and related technologies, along with the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Ownership: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, defining and prioritizing product features and enhancements based on market trends, client feedback, and regulatory requirements.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for trading platform functionalities, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and communicate product roadmap and feature updates.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with architects and development teams to design innovative solutions that address business needs and market demands within the trading platform.
- Agile Methodology: Drive the agile development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user story definition, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory changes impacting the capital markets industry and ensure that the trading platform meets all compliance requirements.
- Product Strategy: Contribute to the overall product strategy, identifying opportunities for growth, differentiation, and competitive advantage in the capital markets space.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Facilitate UAT activities to ensure that the developed features meet business requirements and are user-friendly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, computer science, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis and product ownership within the capital markets or trading platform domain.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, trading workflows, and market data within the capital markets industry.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and experience working in agile development environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Strong Domain skills - Must have working experience in Capital Markets across modules and instruments especially Derivatives (Bonds, Options, Futures, Swaps)
- Technical acumen with the ability to understand and discuss complex software and system architecture.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within the capital markets domain.
