The business has been developing software technology for six years and has developed a new product that has generated significant interest among within its specific market niche due to delivering time savings and a high return on investment. As part of their growth strategy, we are now looking for a new four-person team to work on React and React Native software development. This is an exciting ground-floor opportunity to work for a growing software company and contribute to greenfield development with a passionate software development team.
React Architect & Lead Software Engineer
Carrollton, TX – hybrid with 1 day per week working from home.
$160-200k + Bonus and excellent benefits package.

To be successful in this role:
You will be a confident React Architect & Lead Software Engineer with senior-level software development skills and software architect level skills.
Other requirements for this role include:
- Strong JavaScript programming experience
- Strong React experience
- Experience using material UI patterns and practices
- Comfortable using Git
- Understanding of SDLC models and methodologies (Agile)
- Very good communication skills
- B.S. Computer Science or related degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with Node, Storybook, XCode, and Swift is a plus
Job role and responsibilities:
As a React Architect & Lead Software Engineer you will lead and mentor a small team of React Developers. Your duties will be split around Architect duties 20% & Developer duties 80%.
Other responsibilities for this role include:
- React web and mobile development
- Design and develop company component library to be used across all apps
- Write clean, scalable code with best practices in mind
- Write and maintain unit tests via Jest
- Implement client service integration with APIs
- Work in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
- Reviewing the work of junior developers and enforcing coding standards
