Additionally, Whale Harbor Group operates the Whale Harbor Marina, providing a diverse range of dining and entertainment experiences in the area.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef of our new Steakhouse. This is a Wood/Charcoal fired Steak and Chop restaurant also with Seafood and more. This person will be responsible for all day to day operations of the Kitchen. The Head Chef will participate in Menu and new item development working closely with our Remote Executive Chef.
Qualifications
- Culinary expertise, Menu Planning, and Food Preparation skills
- Must have High End steakhouse experience.
- Staff Management and Leadership abilities
- Knowledge of Kitchen Operations and Food Safety regulations
- Creativity in Culinary Innovations and Presentation
- Strong Organizational and Time Management skills
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications is a plus
- Ideal candidate will already live in Florida.
