This mid-size organization has a rapidly growing manufacturing division in the Philadelphia / NJ region & needs a new OPERATIONS MANAGER!
This division focuses on advanced CNC machining & manufacturing of highly complex, tight tolerance precision machined parts & electro-mechanical assemblies, primarily for Medical Device, Aerospace & Defense, Oil & Gas customers.
This is a “highly visible” & “hands-on” role reporting to the Site GM and you will play a significant role in managing daily operations, while optimizing the processes to dramatically improve production efficiencies to double their revenue!
We need a strategic leader that can manage 4 direct reports and make an impact by promoting change within the site.
- You will be accountable for 2 shifts & production efforts, ensure safety, product quality and on-time delivery at the best cost
- Manage budgets, increase cost efficiencies and collaborate with all depts to update best processes, procedures & policies to meet production goals.
- Manage, engage, mentor team members and inspire change
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 7+ years of leadership running operations for manufacturing, assembly, machining, electro-mechanical environment
- In-depth understanding of production schedules, resource allocation, process improvements, equipment maintenance schedules, capacity planning
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence change & collaborate with team members.
- Lean principles - KPIs, Gemba walks, Visual Displays
- US Citizenship / US Permanent Resident
OFFERING: Base Salary + 20% bonus + great benefits + relocation
