Specialist real estate investment group seeks experienced finance professional to join their capital markets finance team in Dallas. This is a newly created role where you will bring a sound finance lens to support the real estate transaction business. Please note, non-real estate experience is a preference.
The role has two core deliverables:
- You’ll be a strategic financial advisor to the real estate deal/transaction team with the goal to bring strong financial expertise and add value to the deal process through analysis, financial modeling and understanding key financial metrics
- Work with the Quant team to create tools, analyze and articulate risks
The successful candidate will bring:
- 7+ years of finance experience, ideally supporting front office teams either on the buy-side, banking or real estate. Fixed Income background preferred but not essential;
- Sound financial modeling & analysis skill set, with a proven history of providing financial recommendations and solving complex problems;
- Strong communication skills; someone who can face off to the deal team and stand by their ideas;
- Professional maturity; someone with the emotional intelligence to be able to face off with a range of different stakeholders and gauge a room;
- Python or C++ knowledge – you don’t need to be able to code, but having a basic understanding of these languages whilst working with the quant team would be essential;
Competitive base salary + performance linked bonus on offer. This role would be full-time in office (Dallas).
