Event Coordinator
Pay Rate: Up to $40/hour (DOE)
Duration: 6 Months
Location: San Jose, CA/ HYBRID (2 days in office)
Planet Interactive's FinTech client has a HOT need for a Event Coordinator to be the driving force behind our presence at 20+ trade shows. From pre-planning to post-show follow-up, you'll be at the forefront of our brand's success for a Hybrid Role starting in September 2024!
Event Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Help manage end-to-end logistics, pre and post-marketing support, event set-up and teardown in addition to overseeing trade show inventory and booth assets.
- Represent the client at trade shows and other activities as needed.
- Track, measure, and report our standard metrics across event marketing efforts.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support team goals and objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to ensure event success
Event Coordinator Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of trade show or event marketing experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail, project management, and organization skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Owner mentality; willing to jump in and help with special projects.
- Sense of urgency and ability to deliver results in tight timeline.
- Proven track record of successful event planning and execution.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Ability to work in the office 2x per week.
- Experience using Salesforce, Marketo, and Asana a plus.
