Are you a dynamic, analytical thinker with a knack for strategic sourcing and supplier management? We’re seeking a highly motivated and Excel-savvy Procurement Manager to join our client's Global Indirect Procurement team, focusing on Corporate & Professional Services.

In this role, you’ll develop and implement global category strategies, drive supplier relationships, and spearhead savings initiatives across the organization. Ideal candidates have solid negotiation skills, experience in procurement (preferably in consulting), and can leverage tools like Microsoft Office, SAP, and Ariba. An advanced degree and professional procurement certification are a plus!
- The team oversees Corporate Professional Services Indirect Procurement for 3 categories: Total Talent Spend (Staff Aug), Travel, and All Other (Financial Services, Outsourcing, General Corporate ie Healthcare/Insurance)
Location: Long Island City, NY (hybrid schedule Tuesdays/Wednesdays required) – if you are a rockstar, they would consider 100% remote!
Pay: $45-50/hr
Dates: ASAP – 1/26/25 - covering for parental leave.
Working Hours: 9am-6pm Mon-Fri with one hour for lunch (35-40 hours/week)
Responsibilities
- The Manager role is responsible for contributing to Global Indirect Procurement’s strategic objectives in order to realize maximum benefit to the business.
- The Manager’s area of responsibility will be within the Corporate & Professional Services category.
- The Manager will work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams across Brands and/or Regions to implement category-specific strategies, drive strategic sourcing activities, and build supplier relationship management programs within his/her area of responsibility.
- Additionally, the Manager will work directly on the identification, tracking and management of savings/value across
- regions and globally.
What you will bring to the table:
- The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated professional, self-starter, and team player with demonstrated successful experience in Procurement, preferably in indirect categories of goods and services.
- This person will be highly analytical with exceptional Excel savvy, such that he/she may dig deep into data and parse out critical elements to further the category strategy.
- Must have solid presentation and negotiating skills; ability to present to all levels of the organization
