We are hiring an SAP Security Consultant with expertise in Role & Transaction Management. This position will play a key role in ensuring our SAP system is secure, compliant, and well-prepared for the company's upcoming IPO. The consultant will focus on SAP role design, segregation of duties (SOD) remediation, and managing authorizations across various SAP modules. The role requires hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA Security, Security Weaver, and a deep understanding of SOD conflict resolution at both role and user levels.
Remote Contract, 6+ Months. Eastern time zone hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Add and manage transactions within SAP roles, ensuring adherence to Segregation of Duties (SOD principles.
- Redesign roles by splitting larger roles into smaller, more specific roles to improve security and access control.
- Ensure proper transport of roles through development, testing, and production environments using SAP Transport Management
- Review and scrutinize authorization objects within roles to ensure no critical authorizations are bypassed.
- Maintain strict compliance as the organization prepares to go public.
- Collaborate with E&Y to review and test modified rulesets in Security Weaver
- Correct SOD conflicts at the role level and proceed to user-level conflict remediation, with a focus on Finance and SD modules.
- Manage SOD conflicts across key modules: Purchasing, Procurement, FICO, SD, and MM.
- Play a pivotal role in ensuring the SAP Security framework is aligned with organizational goals, particularly in the context of the IPO.
- Ensure compliance with evolving security and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA security, including role design, user management, and authorization objects.
- Expertise in using Security Weaver for SOD conflict analysis and remediation.
- Deep understanding of SOD conflict resolution at both the role and user level, with experience in Finance and SD being particularly valuable.
- Proficiency in managing the transport of roles across various SAP environments.
