Summary:
Centercourt Club & Sports is currently seeking a full-time Facility Manager for it’s Marlboro location to oversee the facility in its entirety. The Facility Manager will be responsible for maintaining a state-of-the-art standard from an appearance and cleanliness perspective while also maximizing business opportunities through various year-round offerings and revenue streams (in-house sport programing, Birthday Parties, Summer Camp, facility rentals and more). The ideal candidate will be energetic, personable, professional, organized, detail oriented and have a true passion for sports, and the desire to be part of a winning team.
Facility Overview:
Centercourt Marlboro boasts 6 indoor climate-controlled hard courts and a 54,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art dome and turf field. The facility is home to year-round programing across 10 business units: Tennis, Pickleball, Girls Lacrosse, Baseball, Softball, Field Hockey, Ninja, Boys Lacrosse, Birthday Parties and Multi-sport Summer Camp.
Responsibilities: include, but are not limited to the following
- Oversee full operations of Centercourt Marlboro
- Strong on-site presence is a must (evenings & weekends)
- Support full-time Sports Directors in the growth of their respective businesses
- Identify and execute cross-sell opportunities from multi-sport programs to sport-specific programs/Camps/Parties
- Manage and maximize year-round rental business
- Oversee and grow facility-based programs: Summer Camp, Ninja, Birthday Parties, Holiday Camps, etc.
- Create and develop relationships with key organizations within the local community: youth and recreational programs, public and private schools, colleges/universities and more
- Hire/train/manage front desk staff
- Manage incoming calls and general inquiry emails at the facility
- Familiarize and become an expert in company operating systems (LeagueApps, EZFacility, Smartsheets, Microsoft Teams)
- Assist in marketing initiatives alongside Centercourt Marlboro Marketing Coordinator
- Ability to generate reports, input, and organize accurate data in Excel, Word and Microsoft Teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in facility management is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to effectively present information
- Willingness to work night and weekends as needed
- Ability to multitask and work as a team in a fast-paced environment
- Sales experience: cold calling, emailing, in-person interactions
- CPR/AED certification or willing to obtain upon hire
- Superior customer service skills
- Basic understanding of MS Office
