LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant for a contract role in Fairfield, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a great company and build your HR career!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, and processing documentation
- Assist in recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews, posting job openings, and communicating with candidates
- Help with onboarding and orientation processes for new hires
- Assist in the coordination of training sessions, employee events, and other HR-related activities
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and other HR matters
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements
- Support the HR team with general office duties as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role, preferably within HR
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
