They are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to assist on leading and innovating their deep learning initiatives. This role demands a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, extensive experience in developing and deploying large-scale models, and a strong publication record in top-tier conferences and journals. As a key member of the scientific team, this individual will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of state-of-the-art deep learning models tailored to the complexities of drug discovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of foundational models for drug discovery, employing advanced techniques in deep learning, neural networks, and computational biology.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of biologists, chemists, and data scientists to integrate multi-modal data sources and enhance model performance.
- Design and implement scalable machine learning pipelines, ensuring robustness, reproducibility, and efficiency in model training and evaluation.
- Stay abreast of the latest research in machine learning and computational biology, contributing novel ideas and methodologies to the scientific community.
- Publish groundbreaking research in high-impact journals and present findings at leading conferences, establishing the client as a thought leader in the field.
- Mentor and guide junior scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or very closely related field.
- Proven track record of impactful publications in top-tier machine learning and AI conferences/journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, Nature, Science).
- Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX).
- Strong programming skills in Python, with expertise in machine learning libraries and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy large-scale machine learning models in real-world applications.
- Experience with bioinformatics, cheminformatics, or related fields is highly desirable.
