Metric are representing a well-established medium sized civil engineering firm with over five decades in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering teams focused on roadway design for Transportation (including freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural highways, and shared-use facilities) Design-Build (DB) and Progressive Design-Build (PDB) projects.
- Coordinate closely with other discipline leads to ensure seamless project integration.
- Serve as a vital member of the project management and delivery team, overseeing all aspects of roadway design, including analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity calculations.
- Utilize your expertise in software such as Microstation OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D, along with other tools commonly used in transportation engineering.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, maintaining strong, positive relationships with team members and clients.
- Be prepared to contribute to projects both locally and across the Rocky Mountain Region.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills when interacting with clients, staff, and management.
- Consistently meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
- Show a commitment to personal and professional growth with each project, working within a team environment to create designs and drawings that align with our client's overall project objectives.
Qualifications:
- PE license, with preferred states including UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, and WA.
- 10+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design.
- At least 5 years of experience leading roadway design for infrastructure projects.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with DOT Design-Build or Progressive Design-Build projects.
