Title: Help Desk Technician
Location: Plano, TX
Schedule: M-F day hours (40 hour weeks)
Pay: $25/hr
Type: 6+ month contract (can extend/long-term)
Schedule: On-site, then after a few months can be hybrid
Start date: next 2 weeks
The Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated computer technician to assist in supporting level 1 IT activities for Help Desk requests. You will collaborate with end users as the primary contact to provide first contact resolution on level 1 requests and escalate to other team members for incidents and requests that require a higher-level resources to resolve.
Responsibilities
- Function as primary Help Desk contact via monitoring ITSM que, chat, and phone.
- Create ITSM tickets as needed to track incidents/requests.
- Provide user password resets (AD, Partner sites, Third party applications)
- Provide level 1 Troubleshooting on all incidents/request via tickets, chat, and phone.
- Provide follow up on tickets to insure timely resolution on Service Desk tickets.
- Install software utilizing ITSM deployment tools (as approved).
- EUD support, configuration, and setup.
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
Minimum 2 years Level 1 Tech experience.
Proficient in administration: AD, M365, Print Server, Windows OS, Intune.
Proficient in initial troubleshooting of Windows OS, Desktop, Laptops, Printers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Time management and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and remain on track with deliverables.
