Our client's specialty lies in Workers’ Compensation Insurance Defense, OSHA Employer Representation, Subrogation, Subsequent Injury, and Industrial Insurance Litigation, where they defend a variety of clients including employers, insurers, and third-party administrators. The salary for this role begins at $100,000 and goes up based on experience.

Required Skills and Experience
- State Bar of Nevada member.
- Understanding of regulations within state of Nevada.
- 2+ years of experience as an Associate Attorney or related role.
- Experience in one of the following: workers compensation, employment law, or insurance defense.
- Experience in drafting legal documents and correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and courts as well as knowledge and experience in legal research.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Impeccable time management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing strict deadlines.
- Excellent verbal communication skills are critical as well as exceptional and writing skills.
- Experience using an electronic case management system to make sure files are organized and worked on effectively and efficiently.
- Have an interest in Employment-related and administrative law.
Responsibilities
- Represent our clients in court and/or online before government agencies (onsite and remotely).
- Advise, review, and strategize with clients by telephone, written correspondence, and/or email.
- Analyze conflicts in legal matters as well as strategize for our clients.
- Strive to exemplify the highest levels of respect and performance daily for clients & their cases.
- Maintain electronic client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff by using our online case management system.
- Knowledge of all Nevada statutes and regulations pertaining to assigned cases.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with various State and local entities when required as well as opposing counsel.
- Review and manage case files and case strategies for various clients.
