SHR Talent is partnering with a client in Nashville, TN in its search for a Senior Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst. The Senior Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst will be responsible for analyzing industry prospects by gathering information about growth, competitors, and market share possibilities. The Senior Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst will also review company fundamentals and financial statements to build a mosaic which assists upper-level managers in decision making.
An ideal candidate for the Senior Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst role is someone who possesses the ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment with a delivery-focused culture, design and deliver high-quality collateral with accuracy, work independently with limited supervision, communicate effectively, and can listen and understand information verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the execution of transactions
- Perform complex financial valuation and pro forma modeling
- Prepare pitch books and live deal materials, including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations and prospectuses
- Conduct industry research
- Organize financial, legal, and business diligence into data warehouse while coordinating information with integrations lead
- Perform all other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) strongly preferred, but not required
- 0 – 2 years of valuations experience, preferred
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as Financial Analyst
- Healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required
- Intermediate knowledge of finance concepts related to mergers and acquisitions with exposure to business development required, with advanced knowledge preferred
- Basic knowledge of accounting concepts required, with intermediate knowledge preferred
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications with advanced proficiency in Excel
