Our client, an innovative business consulting firm based in MN, is embarking on a series of projects with a leading investor-owned energy company and is in search of a versatile and high performing project manager to lead a variety of critical projects, including SOP management, product development and portfolio planning. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. A successful candidate will thrive in an Agile environment, demonstrate proficiency in project tracking and have excellent presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, update and establish SOPs as needed
- Ensure SOPs are current, accurate, and effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders
- Oversee the development and management of products throughout their lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product goals and timelines are met
- Lead project planning sessions, including defining project scope, deliverables and objectives
- Track project progress, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards
- Utilize Agile methodologies to manage sprints and adapt to changing project needs
- Foster effective communication and collaboration within project teams and across departments
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of project management experience, preference for Energy industry experience
- Experience working in Agile environments and managing sprints is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people
- Ability to understand and manage project deliverables and track progress against goals
- Smartsheet experience a plus
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, PMP or similar certification a plus
