- Modify existing designs to meet unique customer requirements or improve performance and manufacturability.
- Ensure that all designs comply with applicable industry standards, company policies, and quality control requirements.
Collaboration with Manufacturing:
- Provide detailed and accurate manufacturing documentation to production teams, including bills of materials (BOMs) and assembly instructions.
- Liaise with the manufacturing team to ensure that designs are feasible and cost-effective for production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturing challenges as they arise.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct design reviews and simulations to ensure the product meets performance and reliability requirements.
- Perform tolerance analysis and oversee prototyping to validate design concepts.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving design processes and implementing best practices.
- Work with the team to streamline project workflows and reduce lead times.

- Extensive experience with SOLIDWORKS (including part, assembly, and drawing creation).
- Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and practices.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and materials.
- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS (required) and other CAD/CAE software.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and how they integrate with engineering data.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage customer relationships and collaborate with internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
