Summary/Objective Under limited supervision, the Nurse Triage Educator will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in providing the necessary guidance to RNs. This position will bridge the gap between client clinical expectations and standards.
Essential Job Functions
· Facilitate critical thinking and clinical judgement on providing interventions in accordance with patient concerns.
· Provide basic on-the-job training and serve as a resource to address questions related to the policies, processes and procedures.
· Adjust to the needs of meeting service level agreements.
· Ensure training needs of RNs are met.
· Successfully complete all client related training and keep record of the same.
· Communicate all processes and client changes to direct reports within specific timelines and keep record of such updates.
· Provide feedback and coaching to RNs on key job capabilities.
· Update and develop content as per client and business requirements.
· Participate in call calibration to understand and identify targets.
· Perform side-by-side sessions and provide real-time feedback.
