Title: Senior Software Engineer
Location: NYC, Hybrid
Overview: Our client, a well established high-frequency proprietary trading firm, is looking to add experienced C++ Developers with a strong quantitative foundation.
They are looking for candidates capable of building and maintaining high-performance infrastructure that enables them to to execute algorithmic trading strategies based on patterns in market behavior and maintain their position as a market leader.
Responsibilities
- Architecting the trading platform to facilitate the evolving needs of trading strategies
- Designing and implementing a high-frequency trading platform
- Developing systems that provide easy access to historical market data and trading simulations
- Building risk-management and performance-tracking tools
Qualifications
- A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and OOP in C++
- The ability to work and communicate in a fast-paced FO environment
- Working knowledge of Linux
- Possess knowledge of secondary language, such as Java, Python, Perl, Bash or Shell scripts
Base Salary ranges from $175,000 - $275,000, depending on experience level, plus discretionary bonus
