SUMMARY
The Human Resources Compensation Associate will support the firm’s compensation programs, report to the Head of Compensation and Benefits, and will engage regularly with stakeholders from all departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The individual will be involved in the following critical activities:
- Collect and organize data for compensation analysis. Interpret and analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
- Support the development, reporting and analysis of compensation programs, ensuring they align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Develop financial models to evaluate various financial scenarios, predict business outcomes and support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records of employee compensation and benefits information.
- Consult on compensation matters and assist with structuring offers for new employees.
- Administer day-to-day and quarterly processes related to the company's stock plan.
- Manage the reporting for global headcount and review new and existing roles within the organization.
- Support the firm’s RFP (request for proposal) and RFI (request for information) HR data requests, as well as HR related data requests and analytics.
- Clearly communicate financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
- Seek to improve financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to implement policies and procedures related to compensation.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The ideal experience and critical competencies for the role include the following:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of compensation experience required.
- Advanced Excel skills required. Experience with creating a macro and VBA programming a plus.
- Experience in the financial services industry or a public company preferred.
- Applied experience with HRIS technology and HR data analytics. Workday HCM expertise preferred.
- Understanding of equity and/or incentive programs as a compensation tool preferred.
- Highest degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidential information.
