Allen Commercial Door & Specialty Hardware is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager!
The ideal Project Manager (PM) is experienced and knowledgeable about the Division 8 segment of commercial construction. Additionally, understanding some Division 10 is a plus. This PM will be detailed and diligent, maintaining a sense of urgency in their work. Through being well-organized, the PM will quickly be able to prioritize work among multiple projects, as well as making and executing decisions quickly and independently.
While utilizing strong professional communication skills when challenges arise, this PM will build strong relationships both internally and externally through generating solutions and delivering feedback.

Responsibilities:
- Review blueprints and construction documents to determine the best Division 8/Division 10 material for a project.
- Providing proposals to customers for commercial doors, frames, hardware, and Division 10 specialty material.
- Creating submittal packages for Division 8 and Division 10 material.
- Purchasing and phasing material deliveries.
- Coordinating material delivery and installation with site contacts.
- Maintaining external relationships by following-up to ensure satisfaction throughout a project.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in Project Management preferably within Div 8 (with doors, frames, and hardware specifically).
- Understanding of architectural door and hardware vendors, part numbers/nomenclature, and product applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
- Architectural Hardware Certification is not required, but a plus.
- Background in construction and project management is strongly encouraged.
