Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic eCommerce Merchandise Manager to shape the online customer experience. This role involves managing content strategy, site structure, merchandising, site functionality, and campaign planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have a creative mindset and proven experience driving profitable, sustainable growth for an eCommerce business. This position reports to the Head of E-commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a full-year content calendar in line with the DTC business strategy, including product launches, promotions, and content activations
- Own the e-commerce product catalog, product attribute taxonomy, and on-site navigation
- Create compelling and effective copy for website assets, ensuring it drives customer action
- Develop customer journey with a mobile-first approach
- Drive prioritization for site UX A/B testing based on data analytics and company objectives
- Ensure an effective consumer experience across all conversion points
- Build essential sales reporting for product & collection performance, translating data into actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and drive effective merchandising efforts
- Work with Planner to determine product availability and sell-through strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, or a related business field
- 5+ years related experience in Merchandising, Site Merchandising, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong customer focus, with a commitment to creating the right site experience for our customers
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
