What you’ll be doing:
- The Project Manager will be attending hand-off meetings, reviewing bid specifications, and major purchase orders.
- Develop project estimates, schedules of values, budgets, and project plans.
- Create and maintain project schedules, including work breakdown structures.
- Prepare an organization chart for project staff and establish a manpower requirements schedule.
- Monitor and update project schedules, collaborating with the construction manager.
- The Project Manager will track schedule activities impacting project progress and prioritize tasks with the superintendent.
- Review and authorize material requests and manpower activities, including overtime and extra work.
- Conduct weekly progress reviews with foremen and on-site staff, addressing issues as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors' activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Lead project close-out processes, including training, final change orders, and documentation submissions.
Who we’re looking for:
- A four-year bachelor’s degree in construction management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good understanding of systems.
- A thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is essential
