Position: Construction Project Coordinator
Compensation: $50,000 - 80,000k
Location: New York, NY (ONSITE)

Our client is a leading commercial General Contractor and Construction Manager in NYC. They are looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to join their growing team where you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets; coordinate activities to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
- Serve as the liaison between project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers; facilitate meetings and provide progress updates.
- Maintain accurate records, track expenditures, manage project files, and support budget management.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality standards; conduct site inspections and resolve project issues.
- Oversee final project documentation, punch list completion, and client approvals; facilitate final inspections and acceptance.
- Manage lien waivers and insurance certificates; assist with invoicing, track financial transactions, and ensure timely payments.
The ideal Construction Project Coordinator will have:
- Previous internship or work experience in construction is advantageous.
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
