ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Marketing Coordinator is a key supporting role in the Marketing structure and provides a strong foundation for a career in marketing. Its primary role is to support all aspects of the delivery of brand programs to market and to partner with the Assistant Brand Manager (ABM) on the development of the brand strategies and programs in service of delivering the brand/s financial and health goals. The role will focus on delivering all identified objectives while assisting the Assistant Brand Manager with all activities for our fast-growing brands and upcoming new brand launches.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support in the development and execution of an Integrated Activity Plan (IAP)
- Contribute to IAP development process
- Assist in maintaining the seasonal marketing calendar
- Assist in the creation of 360 product launch strategies
- Identify opportunities and innovate/develop promotions for existing products and NPD
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the brand strategy is adapted to each retailer
- Support the Integrated Communications team by addressing any brand requests
- Work closely with the Market Strategy & Planning team to analyze the retail performance of marketing initiatives, competitive activity, and market trends to identify sales opportunities
Assist in ensuring flawless and on-brand in-store and online execution
- Ensure global image, standard, and direction are upheld at all consumer touchpoints
- Assist team in maintaining view of online presence across owned channels and retailer channels
- Participate in establishing vision for the in-store presentation of the brand
Support in NPD Launches: pre-launch assessment, execution, launch tracking
- Identify opportunities for innovation
- Trial and provide feedback on all NPD projects
- Support with opportunity sizing of NPD
- Assist in the Add/Delete process
- Partner with Global and cross-functional teams to ensure all back-end product set-up is complete in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist in performance tracking of NPD launches. Help analyze all retail partner sales by brand at an sku level
Competitive Analysis
- Maintain a current view of the market – key players, product trends, innovation in execution
- Assist in gathering competitive data for analysis projects such as pricing and forecasting
Support in Day-to-Day Operations
- Support in marketing presentations development and materials for retailers and field
- Support Assistant Brand Manager in A&P budget tracking
- Manage the PO process
- Manage and track all stock requests
- Manage product closet inventory
- Assist in ad hoc analysis and requests from cross-functional departments and external partners
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years relevant experience with increasing responsibility
- Passion for Beauty; previous beauty company experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Positive, proactive attitude
- Self-starter, high level of motivation, integrity & ability to work well independently & as a team
- Project management skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Can creatively problem solve
- Flexible with the ability to adapt well to change
