SUMMARY
The Healthcare Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact on larger, more complicated projects or on multiple projects with supporting management staff. They are responsible for all aspects of the project(s) including project team performance, cost, quality, schedule, and safety. Maintain relationships with Clients, Architects, Consultants and Subcontractors. Daily activities are conducted to promote the company's vision, mission and core values.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field strongly preferred.
- OSHA certification preferred.
- Experience with ACHA preferred.
- Proficient in project management software.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide overall leadership to entire project team.
- Manage all aspects of the project including profitability, schedule adherence, conformance to specs and drawings and customer expectations.
- Work with Superintendent and key stakeholders to develop the project plan, means and methods, recordkeeping and monitor the project schedule.
- Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential.
- Manage in coordination with team an estimate, buyout, budget and schedule for clients.
- Build and maintain positive relationships and rapport with architects, subcontractors, clients, consultants, public, vendors and project team.
- Maintains a high degree of professionalism embracing CPPI’s mission, vision and values.
- Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.
- Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule.
- Manages budget and controls project costs through a combination of industry methods to ensure financial performance on the project as well as generates financial reporting.
- Interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
- Manage the Quality Assurance / Quality Control program.
- Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, as well as fee and pricing decisions.
- Manages all facets of project close-out, including archiving of documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies, and warranty work.
- Processes all change orders, including negotiating and assessing cost and schedule impact.
- Work effectively within a team environment and encourages participation from all tiers of
- Completes project estimate from start to finish including but not limited to: review specs, send out request for quotes, perform take offs, compile subcontractor quotes, and write up estimates.
- Develops recovery strategies when project schedule or budget are in jeopardy.
- Manages all facets of project close-out, including archiving of documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies, and warranty work.
- Identifies and implements opportunities for value engineering, cost reductions, increased profitability, and continual process improvement.
- Controls project cost through a combination of industry methods to ensure financial performance on the project.
- Maintain awareness of current marketplace and trends to gain and maintain our competitive advantage.
