Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Mason, OH (Mainville, OH)
Type: 6 months Contract-To-Hire
Overview:
The Electrical Engineer will focus on designing electrical systems, including power distribution and component layout within enclosures and panels. You'll work with AutoCAD and E-Plan to capture schematics and manage detailed design aspects like BOMs and layouts. This role does not require previous experience in industrial automation but demands strong electrical design skills and attention to detail. No travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize AutoCAD Mechanical or AutoCAD Electrical for schematic capture and E-Plan for electrical design.
- Design electrical power distribution systems for 208/480 VAC.
- Layout and integrate electrical components into enclosures and panels with high precision.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supporting communication between the shop floor and the engineering teams in both Ohio and California.
- Troubleshoot issues and update drawings as needed.
- Work hands-on with the engineering team to ensure seamless technical communication and support.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in AutoCAD Mechanical or AutoCAD Electrical for schematic capture.
- Proficiency in E-Plan for electrical design.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution (208/480 VAC).
- Experience with electrical component layout in enclosures and panels.
- Detail-oriented with strong skills in managing BOMs, layouts, and component design.
- Associate's or BAchelor's Degree
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 8-5 PM (flexible for work-life balance).
- No travel required.
- No weekends.
