Experience Required:
- You should have a strong enthusiasm for the Snowflake Data Cloud, particularly in optimizing costs and workloads.
- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fine-tuning databases, prioritizes cost-compute efficiency, and is adept at analyzing query plans.
- A solid background in query optimization is required.
- Comfort with the Snowflake Query Profiler is a must.
- Strong SQL skills are necessary.
- Experience working with diverse external datasets, including data cleaning, joining, and transformation; familiarity with public data sources is a plus.
- Experience with dbt and orchestration tools is highly valued.
- Proven experience in building and managing data pipelines in production environments.
- Interest in working with large-scale economic datasets, including real-time transaction and clickstream data from various sources.
