LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for their construction client in the Flint area. The Senior Financial Analyst will drive the company’s financial planning and analysis activities, playing a key role in shaping strategic decisions and offering valuable insights to executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed WIP analysis to monitor project performance and profitability
- Perform job costing to track costs associated with construction projects accuarately
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial practices align with company objectives
- Present financial data and insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Implement and maintain financial control systems to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with industry regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years' of relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Proven experience in WIP analysis and job costing preferably within the construction industry
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data
