Position: Security Sales Engineer Manager
Our team seeks a motivated, knowledgeable, and talented Sales Engineer Manager to cultivate relationships
and provide innovative security designs that aligns solutions to our client’s needs. You will lead a sales
engineering team that is enthusiastic to cultivate relationships while providing technical ownership of security
solutions from design and estimating through to project management.

Responsibilities:
Maintain consistent standards and best practices for Sales Engineering Team
Manage and maximize accuracy of pricing and assemblies in design system
Create, implement, and continuous improvement of sales engineering processes
Develop Sales Engineer Staff and provide management oversight
Develop, manage, client relationships and grow key strategic accounts
Design, engineer, and estimate enterprise-wide physical security solutions
Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
Cultivate client relationships into partnerships
Update ERP system with status changes, revenue estimates, target date forecasts
Stay abreast of competitive offerings and industry trends
Outline intuitive and complete Scope of Works to set clear success matrixes aligned to client goals.
As necessary, and in conjunction with the team leadership, present our solutions / designs to
prospective clients with the goal of winning new business
Assist post-sales engineering / project management as necessary with technical issues / redesigns
Monitor, measure, and report on quote / sales engineering pipeline
Provide responsive, concise, professional support to all customers and other personnel to ensure
timely follow-up on all customer concerns and issues
Generate RFI’s and other formal correspondence as required
Ensure timely and successful delivery of RFP’s
Conduct post project reviews in conjunction with project management to ensure high client
satisfaction
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience, education and training
5+ years management experience with IT / Security System Industry / Sales Engineering or related field
Responsible for reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
Technical experience (10+ years) in video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and IP
networking
Extensive knowledge of design / sales engineering best practices of integrated security systems
Proven hands-on Security System technology experience and installation techniques
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Exceptional client facing communications & presentation skills
Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
Create accurate diagrams and documentation using design tools.
Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet
resources.
Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside the organization.
A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Other duties as required or assigned by company management.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Regular and Timely Attendance
Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 4 hours) without a break
Position requires bending, twisting, stooping and climbing
Ability to use ladders and lifts at height to perform installation and service
May be exposed to temperature changes, heights, small spaces including confined spaces
Ability to distinguish colors and use hands for repetitive fine manipulation frequently
Must pass initial and random substance abuse tests & background checks
