Data Analyst
We are seeking an energetic, dedicated individual that can be a valuable asset to our team. Individual must be a creative problem solver, motivated and committed to providing outstanding client service. Candidate must possess solid communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare and edit various correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, graphic elements such as charts using Microsoft Office software; maintain associated files.
- Data entry, assist with comprehensive cost and variance analyses.
- Expedite flow of work, and initiate follow-up when necessary.
- Independently systematize and distribute incoming materials.
- Assist in daily administrative roles and support as needed.
Required Skills and Experience Requirements:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, exhibits professionalism.
· Superior MS Office experience and advanced skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
o Specific to Excel, must delve into tools in the formula tab and the function library. Must be comfortable with utilizing VLOOKUP, DATE, TEXT and logical functions such as IF, TRUE etc. Familiar with using Concatenate, Text to Columns, Removing Duplicates and creating subtotals and using multiple (nested) subtotal functions. Versed in use of pivot tables and the ability to insert and format graphic elements in charts.
Specific to PowerPoint, must be able to create and format charts and diagrams, modify the slide master, specify slide transitions and timings, add movie and sound clips, comfortably add custom animation text and graphics and embed and link content.
· Demonstrates organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail.
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet required deadlines in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
· Ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously.
· Knowledge of accounting and high level of mathematical ability desirable.
· General construction background or knowledge a plus but not required.
