Job Description
Our company is seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to oversee our coating operations in Alabama. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, preferably with an engineering degree, and a proven track record in managing large-scale manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Overall leadership and management of the plant, including production, quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize plant operations, improve efficiency, and drive growth.
- Responsible for P&L management, budget development, and financial performance.
- Implement and maintain robust quality control systems to ensure product consistency and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee production processes, including coating application, finishing, and inspection.
- Lead and develop a high-performance team, providing coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and R&D departments to support new product development and customer needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a plant management role.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale manufacturing operations (150+ employees).
- In-depth knowledge of metal powder coating processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
