Title: Human Resources Assistant II
Reports to: HR Executive Director
Status: Non-Exempt
Summary:
The Human Resources Assistant II provides administrative support to human resources functions, including, employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, training, equal employment opportunity, and employee records. The role requires an ability to handle sensitive information and time management.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Compiles statistics for various HR management reports, assist with pre-employment screening, interviews scheduling, reference checks and respond to routine questions on HR policy.
- Assists with hard copy filing and e-filing of personnel records
- Maintains the HR department calendar
- Assists with internal investigations/grievances as needed.
- Assists with on-boarding of New Hires by verifying educational credentials and/or Immigration documents.
- Prepares meeting agendas, staff communications and coordinate scheduling for Department meetings.
- Maintains the inventory and order monthly supplies for the department
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 2+ years of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- This position is primarily sedentary
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
