Highlighted Job Requirements:
Infotainment Test Engineer, minimum 2 or 3 years of experience
Experience in some of the following: Bluetooth, Media, Navigation, Receiver, Diagnostics module validation
Bachelors or Masters’ degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
US driver’s license (can be obtained at local within the valid period of international license)
Software evaluation
Function Test, System Test, Regression Test, End to End Test
Microsoft Office: (Excel, Word、Power Point、Outlook)
Communication skills (Business English level required, multicultural teamwork)
Troubleshooting (separation of software bugs and environment/user factors, recovery from test errors, etc.)
Job Description:
Carry out field tests in North America for in-vehicle infotainment systems.
As a Head Unit (HU) supplier, our client evaluates HU functions, and its connectivity with peripheral devices, server, and smartphone applications, etc., and provide high quality products to OEMs.
Software evaluation (bench, vehicle) implementation, result reporting
Create test plans and design test cases.
Log acquisition
Defect detection
Defect report
Bug ticket follow-up, bug status management
Evaluation environment construction (Firmware version upgrade, hardware configuration setup)
Understanding the specifications
Equipment management
Customer support (Understand customer needs, support customer evaluation, report test result)
Business trip for testing at customer office/plant, long drive test, or customer support (several times a year, total 2-3 weeks)
